year: 2018
The project was carried out in partnership with architect Edo Rocha, for a public bidding by the city hall of São Paulo. The proposal consists of an intervention at the Charles Miller Municipal Stadium, in the Pacaembu neighborhood. As part of the bidding guidelines, the project presents new uses for the stadium, such as a university focusing on sports and athletes, a gastronomy center, greater capacity for spectators, through the lowering of the field, and a flat transparent roof, a solution that seeks not to harm the building's historic heritage status. The existing complex of courts and swimming pool were preserved and renovated, maintaining the public character of this area, with free access for members.
The proposal came in second place.
