The interior project for the Piatto Salentino restaurant consists of the renovation of a townhouse in the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the province of São Paulo state.

Following the wishes of the clients (Italian-Brazilians), the brand's guidelines and the limited budget, the intervention sought to adapt the existing space to the requirements of the two main spaces on the ground floor: the lounge and an industrial kitchen. The upper floor was adapted to accommodate the employee cafeteria and changing room, as well as an office and space for a possible expansion of the kitchen in the future.
The aesthetics of the lounge area seek to highlight the love for Italy and the desire to bring it closer, into Brazilian territory. To achieve this, the brand's visual identity was carefully applied to the space, taking advantage of its colors and shapes. The environment tries to capture the essence of the Salento peninsular region, enabling an immersive experience, along with typical Salento cuisine dishes.

The arch assumes a striking role, as an element whose presence is felt through repetition: internally, as a screen between the lounge and the bathroom corridor, and externally, as a subtle painting on the facade, recalling the classic elements of Italian architecture.
